The VTB Pegasus is a 96V 56Ah race battery made for the Sur Ron Ultra Bee. It stores 5,251 Wh, delivers 280 A continuously and up to 800 A in 10-second bursts, and comes with its own 15 A charger and battery lid. It is for Ultra Bees that already run an aftermarket controller, where the stock pack has become the limit.
Fits
- Sur Ron Ultra Bee, all years.
- Aftermarket controller required. It must be rated for 26S / 96V, for example the VTB Aetos or the EBMX X-9000 V3. This battery does not work with the stock controller.
- Unplug or remove the stock 12V converter before fitting. It is not built for 96V and can be damaged. A 12V converter made for high-voltage systems can be fitted instead.
- The pack sits about 3 cm taller than the stock battery. The taller battery lid is included.
What changes on the bike
- More energy: 5,251 Wh against about 4,070 Wh in the stock 74V 55Ah pack, roughly 29% more.
- More current: 280 A continuous is about 27 kW at nominal voltage, with up to 800 A available for 10 seconds. The controller stops being held back by the battery.
- You can see what the pack is doing: the colour display on top shows charge level, pack voltage, current, cell balance, and MOSFET and cell temperatures.
- Sealed for real riding: IP67 rated case.

- This battery is built to order. Production starts as soon as your payment is received. Lead time is 7 to 10 days from payment, and we email you when it ships.
- Because production starts straight away, the order cannot be cancelled once it is placed, and the battery is non-refundable once built and dispatched.
- This does not affect your legal rights if the battery arrives faulty or not as described. It is covered by a 1 year warranty.
- Shipping is free and included in the price. Tracked delivery. The battery arrives ready to use, no activation needed.
- This is a high-voltage pack. Fitting should be done by someone competent with e-moto electrics. A 96V battery and aftermarket controller take the bike outside its approved specification, so a road-registered Ultra Bee may no longer be road legal or insured.

The lads down at evf looked after me got a nice bac4 k with a bypass loads of cnc aftermarket parts haad me bike back within days no messin about bike was keeping up with 72v 65 mph in seconds alta throttle response was sick bee throwing the ultra stop slacking an get ye bikes booked in
What else I can say - well happy with the kit. I got it for my sons birthday, shipping was quick and installation was easy enough. Once installed we got it programmed one of evf engineers remotely in less than 30mins!
