Race-Ready Power Upgrade for Sur Ron Ultra Bee
Ultimate performance 50kW peak high-discharge race battery upgrade for the Sur Ron Ultra Bee.
This is a premium race battery, built in Europe from cylindrical Molicel P50B cells (even the Stark VARG - the most powerful electric motorcycle in the world, uses Molicel P45B).
The internals use full-size 0.2 mm copper sheets, welded with 5,000 A.
Additional nickel strips are added to enhance conductivity.
The battery is fully potted with a special compound to reduce heat buildup and eliminate vibration, extending durability.
We use only A++ grade cells, imported directly from Europe, which guarantees 4–5x longer lifespan compared to lower-grade variants like grade B.
OEM Fitment - No Adapters Required
You heard it right - the EVFreaks Ultra Bee battery upgrade is exactly the same size as the OEM factory battery (74V 55Ah), but ours is 81V 75Ah, giving you nearly 50% more energy density in the same case.

Real-World Power Feedback
We’ve tested this battery continuously across Europe’s toughest mountain terrains, France, Switzerland, Germany - from trail riding to high peak climbing.
With the OEM stock motor, we pushed 30kW, which is the absolute max it can handle.
With upgraded motors like the Torp TM50Pro or EBMX XUB-80, we reached 50kW peak.
Temperature Performance
We rode this battery in extreme terrain with continuous inclines ranging from 12% to 28%, using supermoto wheels (which apply constant load due to full grip). Even under this stress, the battery cell group temperature never exceeded 40°C.
(BMS cut-off temperature is 55°C.)
Range Gains
Using a Torp TC1000 controller with our EVFreaks 81V 75Ah Ultra Bee battery and the OEM motor (set at 30kW, 550 phase amps):
- Rider weight: 90kg + 15kg gear
- Throttle mostly pinned because it’s that fun
We gained real-world 50% more range. Riding more conservatively would likely yield 60–70% more. This is thanks to copper welding and not nickel, which has 5x better conductivity, resulting in lower resistance, less heat, and more efficiency.
